@martinwinther6013 Actually, ATACMS were not seen as an unnecessary escalation. That was just the excuse. Several senior congressional leaders from both the House and Senate sent a letter to the WH last year asking what the hell was the holdup in sending ATACMS.

@martinwinther6013 Not just a story. The letter was signed by the following congressional leaders in 2023: Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL), Representative Michael McCaul (R-TX), Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS) and senator Jim Risch (R-ID). They never got a response from this Administration.

@martinwinther6013 Just the opposite. They were interested in Ukraine winning it's land back. This Administration never had the slightest interest in that.

@martinwinther6013 It made perfect sense to Ukraine to be able use them in 2022. The only hope Ukraine had was to build on its success at Izyum. This Administration refused to allow Ukraine to keep its momentum going.
