This is getting ridiculous. Never mind the obvious good intentions behind it. But they cannot keep throwing cash at things. It was £1.7bn for something over the weekend. It needs to stop. As well as the economic impact. It’s making those who keep banging on for a longer lockdown too comfortable. They think this free money can go on and on.
