That would be a reasonable comment if and only if indigenous people lived in peace, but they don’t and the data proves this.

@SwingingVoter Living in peace and being peaceful are not the same thing. I never suggested indigenous people are or are not peaceful.

@SwingingVoter Except Indigenous people suffer higher rates of violent crime than non indigenous in almost every category. The data is quite clear. Indigenous people in NSW are almost 3 times more likely to be the victim of an assault than non indigenous. That’s not living in peace. Indigenous women are significantly more at risk to violence than non indigenous, that’s not living in peace.
