@lonnie224 Yep two surplus budgets as opposed to 9 deficit budgets under the LNP. So which Universities do you want closed down. Happy to give up your Medicare payments or PBS subsidies, perhaps we just sack a heap of nurses or take 10% of the Defence budget?

@dawneevon You obviously don’t understand economics. Abbott, Turnbull, and Scotty from Marketing added $600 billion to the National debt. That debt needs interest payments, to be fair Rudd and Gillard added around $270 million, so it’s not just the Libs. However the current government has added zero. So get your facts straight. Dutton can take responsibility for his time in government when the Libs were spending like drunken sailors and Albo can for when he was part of the Rudd and Gillard governments. Read up on National debt and Houehold debt and then come back with a half sensible reply.

@trevorpridham5644 Why would you claim such an easily falsifiable fact. Just look up the budget papers for the last two Federal budgets plus there numerous state Labor governments that have delivered surplus budgets. Are you being wilfully ignorant?

@brothermaynard3200 So once again no surplus budget under 9 years of LNP government 2 surplus budgets under Labor governments. See if you can break into a slight jog and learn to understand what a surplus budget is. I made no claims on how or why it was enabled only that the Libs couldn't manage it in their 9 years, and Labor has. Try and read the comment and understand it.
