  1. Not only is EDF French government owned it is in debt for over €60 billion. It has proven with its shut downs that were only two years ago it is neither reliable or cheap. Construction of its new reactors have proven to be reliably delivered €billions over budget. This is all common public knowledge and easily known with 2 minutes of research on the internet.

  2. @tombradshaw5164  CO2 in particular which since the mid 19th century we have fully understood without a shred of doubt its effect on the atmosphere. It is a greenhouse gas and has as one if its properties an ability to insulate our atmosphere. Since the industrial revolution we have been burning fossil fuels and an accelerated rate. Burning fossil fuels releases CO2 into the atmosphere. This large and relatively quick release of CO2 into the atmosphere has caused a unusually large and rapid increase of CO2 into the atmosphere and had caused it to warm. This is all accepted science and common public knowledge.
