Firstly they already have and regularly do. How do we re-act, we welcome them and if you had the remotest idea of what you were talking about you would know three Chinese warships visited Sydney Harbour about three years ago. Just recently a Chinese warship acted aggressively towards a regular fly past by a RAAF aircraft by aiming a targeting laser at it. Grow up and join the real world of Chinese expansionism.

Absolutely unacceptable behaviour by the Solomon Islands government. It must be stopped by whatever means and cost.

@Darryl Revok Armed intervention if necessary to stop CCP from potentially deployed land based hyper missiles.
1
@Darryl Revok This has nothing to do with morality and all to do with survival.

@serasichongchinliong3450 You have little understanding of national debt. Our debt % to GDP is only around 35% which is easily manageable. The IMF recommends countries can easily manage 60%.
1
@serasichongchinliong3450 once again meaningless numbers that do not explain anything.
1
@boundlesscarefree1231 No, quoting total national debt is meangless unless it is put in context. At the moment our debt is easily managed with our repayments being again easily payed for by out GDP tax receipts.

@sosoable It already has 3 years ago on a PR to Sydney Harbour. There is no excuse or reason for the Chinese Military to have a presence in the Solomons.
1
@ronnereslaw The aircraft was in international waters but inside Australia’s economic zone. The aircraft was lit up with a targeting laser not a pocket torch. You clearly have no understanding of international law and movement at sea.
1
@ronnereslaw Incoherent nonsense.

@sosoable US troops are in South Korea because South Korea is technically still at war with Nth Korea and I can't believe you even brought this up, have you no understanding of the geopolitics on the Korean peninsula?
1
@sosoable You seem to have little grasp of history. In 1950 Nth Korea invaded South Korea the war went back and forth with an allied Force from the UN supporting South Korea and the Chinese supporting the North. A ceasefire was eventually negotiated, but the countries are since officially at war. That’s why the US maintains forces on the Korean Peninsula, to ward of North Korean aggression. I mean this is just history 101.

@sosoable I have no idea why you would raise Kashmir as an of interest to China as this is a border dispute between India and Pakistan. What China has been doing is aggressively pushing the Indians in the Pandong Lake Ladakh area and the Tibet Autonomous region, and the Sikkimese and Tibet autonomous region. The have attacked and killed Indian troops in this region in recent years. Just more evidence of Chinese military aggression.

@sosoable US troops have not deployed to Palestine, they provide some training to the PASF, however the US does provide assistance to Palestine since the signing of the Oslo accords in 1993. What’s your point.
1
@sosoable No it doesn’t. It has never expressed any of those desire’s. in fact China has been absolutely silent and played no part in middle eastern geopolitics.
1
@ronnereslaw I said nothing that was remotely racist or cynical. Do you have an argument or just mindless derogatory comments?
1
@ronnereslaw Disagreement over a countries foreign policy is not racism. If you don't understand the difference between staying silent when a foreign state invades another then clearly you have no idea about the difference between Iraq invading Kuwait and the UN mandate to allow the US coalition to return it to the Kuwait people. You raised Palestine as an issue not me, your reply about Israel is a non-sequiter. Your reply about Nth Korea again is a non-sequiter and fallacious. I didn't say China will position troops in the Solomons to defend the Solomons but they will be used to attack Australia. No comment on Kashmir, so you obviously realised the foolishness of raising that as an issue and you went very quiet on the India/China border dispute. Yes I do not speak Mandarin, but i have been to China once for a holiday many years ago, but where one travels is irrelevant to the argument . And finally you have deleted your last reply from the page. Why?
