That is a very good description of our constitution and Federation in 1901. You are obviously up on your Australian history.

@johnjames6593 So a constitution written in 1901 that made aboriginals non citizens and denied them voting rights about the structure of our Federation was fair and right. Yep nothing to fix at all.

@KIA-MIA-POW Prior to 927 CE folk didn’t know what a country was they just worked in the fields of whoever Kingdom they were in. If truth be known the had no idea of nationhood.

@Sean Francis Waters Lancaster And the indigenous population of Australia own all the land. This is not my opinion it is the opinion of our High Court 6 to 1. Federal legislation after the Mabo and Wik decisions has limited that right of ownership but the same inheritance principle applies. So thankyou for supporting my comment 100%.

@josmith1815 And no body least the indigenous community believes otherwise, of course there was occasional conflict between groups. And clearly for yourself it is all about keeping as much money and resources for yourself as well. A voice merely evens things up for denying indigenous peoples a say in our constitution at Federation when they were made non citizens and denied a vote or any say in how that was done.
