@KingfishStevens-di9ji RealClear politics and Race to the WH polling both had Trump ahead of Biden by a couple of points. It was still very close as was the final election numbers.

18 months ago Trump was comfortably ahead in the polls WTF are you talking about? Trump won the popular vote by less than he lost it to Clinton in 2016. He won the 7 swing states by just 750000 votes. What fantasy land are you living in?

@imzjustplayin As he was 12 months ago as well. Harris briefly led in the polls and again the polls had Trump ahead in all 7 swing states. So all you have claimed is what was obvious to the vast majority of us. Well done.

@KingfishStevens-di9ji Different person different poll results. Against Biden 12 months ago Trump was ahead, against Harris for a brief period Harris was polling ahead of Trump.

@KingfishStevens-di9ji Yes because the polling varied over time, depending on which poll and average polls.

@KingfishStevens-di9ji I’ll admit that poll results vary, that’s about it. Trump led Biden, then Harris had a short bump and was slightly ahead, and then Trump pulled that back. This is what the polls said over a 24 month period. Declaring Trump would win the election was not remotely controversial or particularly clever, all you had to do was read the polling data.
