@TruthWarrior1 Ahh good to see you acknowledge the completely false narrative you presented of costs associated with renewable infrastructure. Now, you wish to discuss issues relating to dispatchability, no problems. Are you suggesting that for any period of time in Australia there is no wind and no sun? You do realise that PV cells still work on cloudy days, although somewhat less efficiently. Currently there are two offshore wind farms planned, one is in Tassie the other NSW and the power out of both those farms would supply 100% of our current demand at a quarter of the cost of the equivalent nuclear plants. Dispatchability is easily solved by using technology and a mix of generation types. Not my opinion this is the data presented by numerous economists and engineers.
