Some are actually polls of numerous other polls, ie RealClear politics poll. All these polls showed Trump well ahead of Biden 4 weeks ago.   8. @Jasonmcglovon I didn’t suggest that. What I said was the polling showed in 2016 Clinton winning the popular vote which she did and by the amount the polls suggested. The Presidency is won by the electoral vote which Trump won across 6 battleground states by a very narrow margin of 89000 votes. What are you not understanding about this?

  11. @Jasonmcglovon Actually at the 2016 election the polling was reasonable accurate. Clinton won the popular vote by 3.5points. Trump won the Presidency because he narrowly won in the battleground states by a total of only 89000 votes which got him the electoral college. The polls are merely an indication of voter intent on any given day. Of course they don’t decide who will win, but they have shown a consistent trend. 4 weeks ago these polls had Trump easily ahead of Biden. Were they wrong then? This election will be very close, Trump may still win, but there will be nothing in it.
