@joshpalmer3754 As clearly stated previously, read the latest report, because they have and renewables are still significantly cheaper. Your comment is factually wrong, and unbelievably ignorant as I referenced the document that provides the data and directed you to the report.

@joshpalmer3754 Character!!!! I referenced the Gencost report 2023-24 3 hours ago telling the people commenting here to stop making shit up and read the report on LCOE. On the front pages of the report it clearly states that in response to feedback pre 2030 integration costs have now been included in the data and you still stupidity rant on with your own unsubstantiated opinion. I don't give a rats arse what Bowen opinion is, the science and the economics clearly demonstrate renewables are significantly cheaper at producing electricity than fossil fuels. Nuclear is ludicrously expensive. I don't give a shit about your character, only I am amazed at the stupidity of your argument.

@joshpalmer3754 As a side note included in the basic formula used in calculating LCOE is the cost of the expected lifetime of the system. This includes disposal and replacement costs.
