  1. This is really a no brainer. States have secular laws. Religious organisations meet those secular laws.

  2. Yes governments do have the right to overrule them. In modern western liberal democracies secular law universally is superior to church laws.

  4.  @birgittabirgersdatter8082  My comment pertains to all belief be it Buddhism or Judaism, or whatever. I have no problem with religious freedom, you can believe whatever you want, but your actions must comply with the secular law of the state.
