Andrew, you had the helm for 9 years, you chose the OPV, the Hunter class frigates, and the subs and the then re-decision about the subs and you want Labor to reorganise and re-equip the navy in 3 years. You even have the idiocy to suggest the Houthis have a greater strike ability than our on airforce and navy. Could the LNP please put an adult in charge of the opposition relating to Defence.

  5. @dantheman5222  Personally I think the plan to go with a new class of frigate is the right choice. They obviously have four choices lined up of existing models ready to be built.

  8. Our ships are armed with the latest. ie the RIM 162 ESSM equips both our frigates and destroyers. The US Navy has used this exact missile to shoot down Houthi drones and missiles.
