@None-y2f Technically speaking the only true rights you have is control of your own body and thought, everything else are social constructs created over thousands of years of social interaction. When you say government I hear society, so yes apart from those two specific rights all other freedoms are merely agreed to by people.

Why is there any need? Freedom of religion is granted as a right in our constitution. This is just virtue signalling to a few fundamentalists who want to be able to discriminate based on their hateful ideology.
