I can name a long list of deficiencies during the Howard years, but what does it matter the world is going to end tomorrow according to you anyway. It's just ridiculous, ludicrous, total, and utter hyperbole. I hope you appreciate the irony in that second last sentence.

There is absolutely no economic reason to run surplus budgets for the sake of a surplus, in fact many economists recommend deficit budgets in the right circumstances. You are just pissed that the Libs couldn’t do it in the last 9 years as neoliberalism economics failed, Labor have delivered. As I said cry a river princess.

  4.  @buildmotosykletist1987  Inflation is a worldwide problem particularly amongst the OECD countries it is a function of post pandemic supply/demand issues and a war in Ukraine. It has little to do with a singular Labor budget.

  5.  @buildmotosykletist1987  And that would make sense if inflation was limited to Australia but it isn't. Also there has been plenty of economists opinion that in fact inflation will drop by half next year to 3.5%, it is already trending down. Once again describing this budget as catastrophic is just hyperbolic.

  6.  @buildmotosykletist1987  Well I’m not trying to blame any one specific thing as there are many factors causing inflation. OPEC limiting oil supply at the same time Russian oil faced western embargo’s and oil companies gouging profits has significantly increased transport costs. A Labor budget restoring a parental payment is inconsequential in comparison. You are just fixated on an anti Labor bias and pissed that they are electorally popular.
