  6.  @MGB618  For what is worth I am a veteran, multiple operations and I don't find it anything other than a friendly hello. I'm sure there are plenty of serving and ex serving personnel who do as well and no doubt plenty who think the same as you. It certainly isn't meant to offend you, but as they say offence can't be given only taken. I'm sorry you feel the way you do.
