Comments by "" (@pwillis1589) on "Nuclear found to be the most 'disputed or uncertain' and 'expensive' option" video.
Factually incorrect, both in the US and France Electricity produced from Nuclear energy is heavily subsidised by taxpayers, in France to the tune of 40 billion euros. The only thing that enables nuclear power in the US to compete with gas and coal are federal and state subsidies. You need to do some research before you comment on an issue you seem to know little about.

@positivepawpaw7564 Wind and solar don't need subsidies as they are already significantly cheaper to produce electricity than coal and gas. Don't get me wrong i have no problems with government subsidies to nuclear power to make it cost effective. I just get annoyed with these numpties who make unsubstantiated false claims that nuclear power is cheap. It isn't and has never has been.

@positivepawpaw7564 Not sure what you are on about. I just checked the NEM and currently right now renewables are providing 46% of the electricity demand. The market is well on its way to transitioning from fossil fuel with probably no need at all for nuclear power. You have asked some important questions all of which have been answered you just don’t like what you heard.
