  1. No it is not. Factually incorrect. The constitution can be amended at any time via referendum, and if we wanted to we could change to entire document. If we wanted to we could insert a bill of rights. A constitution is meant to be a nations heart not a dead weight stopping progress.

  4.  @jackturpin7828  The government of the day regularly dismisses advisory body’s advice. Not a big deal. It might prove to be embarrassing if proved right and electorally inconvenient. A voice is what the indigenous community has asked for. It just couldn’t gain further power without further constitutional amendments requiring a further referendum. Your point is the typical slippery slope fallacy.
