The SE is old but, by the time it was retired, it was fully capable of flying by night and dropping guided weapons... so maybe not that useless...

Go check the Indian Air force... they are down to 7 diferent fighters and 11 diferent transports...

@admiraltiberius1989 the IAF does have a rep for poor aircraft availability. The combination of plane age, tentacle-like logistics and the sheer size of the country has to cause ulcers to those responsible for this...
