Start small with camping trips. You have to master being able to start a fire, since that's how youd heat and cook, and potentially make safe drinking water depending on your situation. I melt and boil snow for safe drinking water since I'm not by a lake. I'm about a mile from a creek but that's a long way to haul water by hand. I live remotely for much of the year in northern Minnesota (it's what my channel is about) and that's my number one advice. Master fire making, and start small with remote camping trips for short periods of time, and just keep progressing. Do not just dive into it you can get yourself in deep shit. I've seen it.
