  2.  @quentintin1  Thats true but if the Luftwaffe hadn't been fighting the Kregsmarine for aircraft production they might have got one. Also while i love the 109 its actually my favourite aircraft from WW2 i still wouldn't want to land it on a carrier

  3. Assuming the Graf Zepplin was in a port that the allies capture in late 1944 what would they have done with it, try and use it in the pacific or in operation crossroads?

  4. Ignoring the resource and time issues which ships that Germans made as battleships would have made decent carrier conversions? Also why was HMS Formidable in the surface action of Cape Matapan?
