I said more than once that officially the F 18 had an icing problem in that area, not even being able to take off. The professionally respect worthy Mr. Tomov explained that the Mig found a solution for those temperatures. As Romania appears to have a fleet of F 16, in this context I repeatedly asked why they decided for the Mig and not for the F 16. All the information was official, public, not secret meaning if I know it, the others too. Rich and poor are again very relative : is Russia poor having such a war? I have unpleasant news for you : I was informed that Ukraine needs an aid of $7 billion regularly to keep fighting this war. Would you be poor or rich having such an war? Before saying poor out of the context think where will you be in place of Ukraine, Russia or even Romania after 50 years of communism and at least 10 years of civil war.   3. Yes, they had icing problems there with the F 18, they simply couldn't take off. It makes you think at the Mig or the Russian airplanes.
