  1. Yes, but only due to the range safety system. Starship failed to separate, the rocket went into an uncontrollable spin and was destroyed from the ground. The intention was for controlled descents into the sea - the Super Heavy in the Gulf of Mexico and Starship an hour later, having reentered the Earth's atmosphere, in the Pacific north of Hawaii.
