Comments by "MRA" (@yassassin6425) on "History-making moon mission" video.
And here you are again. Why does this consume you so much?

On the contrary, there were nine manned missions to the moon and six landings. It would have been at least ten had it not been for the near catastrophe and aborted landing of Apollo 13 and the premature cancellation of the programme and with it, Apollo 18, 19 and 20. Hope this helps.

You realise that Space X are contracted by NASA to build the HLS that will be used to place a crewed mission on the moon?

Absolute utter drivel. Of course astronauts are selected according to their skills, potential, knowledge, competencies and capabilities irrespective of gender and ethnicity. This has been the case since the shuttle programme. Mercury, Gemini and Apollo almost entirely favoured male military aviators and test pilots. In respect of the latter, worth remembering that Armstrong was a civilian at the time of Apollo 11 as was Apollo 17's Harrison Schmitt, who was a geologist. Astronaut selection is still a ridiculously competitive and rigorous process. NASA have widened participation since the 1960s. Why are you threatened by the notion of that?

@stephenmartinez1 So you didn't watch the video? Why comment on something that you haven't got the first idea about? Look more into Project Artemis and the 2022 test flight of Artemis 1. Artemis 3 pledges to return man to the surface of the moon and Space X currently have the contract to develop the lander.
