  5.  @eocha24  You are still missing the point. This list, albeit inaccurate, concerns artists that have performed albums as a single musician - not as a solo musician. Many of Frusciante's releases such as Ataxia, were in collaboration with Josh Klingoffer; "Shadow's Collide with People" also featured the latter, in addition to Flea and Omar Rodriguez. DC EP was recorded with Fugazi, The Empyrean features a range of additional musicians...(Johnny Marr plays on Enough of Me and Central.) Only six: 'Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T Shirt', 'Smile From the Streets That You Hold' and To Record Only Water for Ten Days" and 'Enclosure' and the 'Trickfinger' project feature Frusciante as the sole musician. or as you say "all by himself" (ignoring production).

  8.  @danielrudolph3252  He was indeed - but the point of this video/list - albeit highly inaccurate, is those artists that were the sole performers on their albums. And actually, Wilson did not write the lyrics for Pet Sounds, that was Tony Asher, moreover, others contributed to the arrangements.
