While GMO meat is not popular in Europe, most of these animals you buy in Europe are though feed with GMO products and according to EU law they are not obliged to inform the user of these things despite EU is against GMO in general as it is suspected to have bad effects on nature and possible unforseen side effects on humans. I would prefer a natural local organic food from the ocean over any of these EU meat products.  Secondly, the toxins that end up in ocean animals comes mainly from the very industrialized food you have just praised. According to the scientists that work within this field they group these animals in two subgroups, where one is called whale whales and the other group has the smaller whales often described as dolphins. The pilot whale is not grouped as a dolphin, but as a whale. I can understand many people are confused, but that probably comes from organisations as Sea SHepherd that know people immediately react emotionally different when they are faced with the word Dolphin and therefor SS misleads the masses with their propaganda where on of their misleadings is to describe the pilot whale as dolphins, while all experts within the field describe them and group them as whales.

  109. Roy Sinar As the oceans become more polluted and this pollution causes the pollute the ocean food one day that will be the reason that also these islanders will not eat from the ocean. First things will be the pilot whale they stop eating. What Sea Shepherd does is just extending the time till they will eventually stop. SS is just to stupid to see that.

Nutso ,Emcee If you were better informed you would know that treadmills is not a think normally specifically associated with nordic countries.   I disagree when you state "..let's just kill all animals ..". I admire a people who prefer not to jail up all animals, only take out a fraction of its population so it keep on being sustainable, and than let the rest of the non endangered population keep living their life in the wild where they all most likely will die of natural causes and not end up their lives in a industrialized slaughter house as most animals  in the modern worlds food production does.
