AmishTurtle Bare in mind, the cows you are reffering to get raped by humans (artificially impregnated) to keep them producing milk, and their calfs they have to give born to, as a result of this pregnancy are all killed, if they are males as the value of them is less than a milk producing cow, and the rest end up as expensive kiddy meat, as calf meat is one of the finest you can buy at fine restaurants.
The point is that as part of the industrialied food production, millions of baby animals are killed. Every day. EVERY DAY. MILLIONS. And a huge part of these, especially in the pig industry, actually does not even end up as meat but is trown away in the dumpsters.
Todays problem is not the nature people that rely on animals that actually live a good life free in nature, where its natural that the bird, fish, or even whale they might heard and eat might be pregnant, the problem is much more the billions of industrialized people who have lost touch with nature and reality and origion of their own food and are ignorant about that their food has a far more bloody and scary story behind it.
To bash these nature people and at the same time enjoy any kind of industrialized meat is simply hypocritical!
