Crime rates were already historically low in the first place and not an issue. In 2023, Denver saw decreases in both violent and property crimes — including murder, aggravated assault, sexual assault, auto theft, robbery and burglary — compared to 2022. In some cases, the declines were steep, such as the number of stolen cars, which dropped 19% You’re talking about one video of people holding guns in an apartment and using that to create a completely made up narrative to justify your own worldview.

When it was actually investigated, the police found no evidence that was what happened and the residents all backed this up. So what’s happening is people just desperately want reasons to hate migrants so they are making up narratives.
