so the most efficient cylinder heads have no spark plugs(diesel)

it is interesting when have to buy 16 spark plugs and to replace it

what did you work on aircraft?, there are 2 magnetos, each gives spark on one plug on each cylinder , so if one die, other gives spark on second plug, there is ground engine check-magneto check where at some higher rpm , unplug one magneto and rpm must drops for some rpm(200) both magnetos are checked

@StupidBlokeStupidVideos you are wrong ,both magnetos have same timing and it is better combustion with 2 spark plugs than with one

3:50 yes it can be ignited two times, that was told in chrysler: first time to burn most of fuel mixture, second time in exhaust stroke to ignite and burn rest of unburned fuel mixture, that is why 2005. 300c 5.7 has 2 spark plugs, but it can be rearranged to give spark at same time, and that has 1% better fuel economy

@bicylindrico yes, but i reconnected it to be twin spark

on light airplanes, that are powered, by 4/6 cy piston boxer engines, difference in rpm are about 200 between 1 and 2 spark plug working(magneto check)

@StupidBlokeStupidVideos when i flew small aircraft , there were 2 magnetos, left and right, both are main and must be adjusted to work together

@StupidBlokeStupidVideos no, in video was told too, that there is no benefit if 2 plugs fire sparks with delay
