β @cosmoray9750 good luck with that especially when most of the oligarchs in India could care less and the state sucks up to them a lot in recent years

Lol then they will just outsource their products to you then u can't escape them π

β @JanRiffler it's been argued by historians that a mixed system would be more successful although they fail to understand that state control over major sectors of development for a nation like resources, information space and culture (which has been proven to be one of the main factors for countries being collapsed) is detrimental for their countries survival and not just end up as a vassal state to other colonialist Empires Sure a mixed system which would have some capitalist elements such as entertainment, arts and other non developmental sectors which would in any way play an important role in a country's progress would be accepted but privatization of major sectors related to development would be just equivalent to selling off your country for values decided by those more powerful than your country China by that logic still has its major sectors of development in control of capitalist oligarchs who are made to bow down to the state ofc but even then the risk of such oligarchs seeking against the interests of the state is too much, unless ofc u have mass surveillance and full control over them as to put them under submission and any attempts they make to detach from the state would be thwarted

I mean it's just a westerner talking about a foreign country instead of the native of those countries speaking on their countrys behalf
3
It is already controlled by land, you control a persons livelihood and their culture you control their lands too especially when u could just put exorbitant debts on a person working against your interests by increasing your tariffs and other taxations, plus such capitalists can already decide your pay too so no point in owning a land if they end up owning you first Sure some people from the old times benefited from the modern economy where there was decent state control over resource availability but now times have changed and many of the products u own are literally outsourced by capitalist oligarchs in many countries Ofc it depends on which country you live in as their systems and state control may vary

β @rfink222 privatizing welfare related sectors is basically becoming a colony to the rest of the world

Typical western colonizer rhetoric ππ¦ πΊπ²π©

You know westerner almost every other country on this planet carry out unethical practises on their lower ethnicities, it's already a known fact especially among people, the difference is the west is the bigger fish in the pond taking up more than half the space

@Maximoose875 you know the irony is Chinas system has never been truly socialist despite how much socialists continue to claim it is China for all intent and purposes have kept a system where they give some leeway for their corporations but as long as they work for national interests which obviously is not working on their favor especially when corrupt oligarchs like Jack Ma were getting too big China although may have a huge control over many sectors like banking and technology still allowed many of them to grow and carry out corrupt practices which they could have stopped by not just creating such corporations in the first place but the issue with such a system that it's similar to a social democracy as westerners like to call it where the country essentially works for the interests of the people providing them all socialistic benefits but at the expense of some group of minorities or in fact their own people but with careful strategic planning as to prevent any revolt against their systems China allows its systems to be run by corporations like Evergrande, Huawei or other companies which have been shown to have CEOs who have been jailed or executed for looking after their own selfish interests but again the fact that they allowed such a system in the first place is exactly the issue here someone like Jack Ma was allowed to collaborate with western oligarchs and he was allowed to become as rich as possible while China conveniently decided to screw him over as he was getting over his head ofc, while Jack Ma did all the damages he could by screwing over his employees and their assets were taken by the Chinese government instead of being returned a true socialist nation would never even allow creating such a system which screws over its people and then correcting it when it's convenient, they would abolish the very foundation of that corruption itself by preventing such corporations from being created let alone allow them with power with no checks China has a system which is 70% run by the state and 30% by capitalist oligarchs who are controlled by the state and in fact is not like a true socialist state like the Soviet Union which abolished all capital or any formation of corporations and most of its systems were completely different from what China today is Soviets never engaged in free market policies and only engaged with foreign corporations with strict governmental standards (like complete control over their engagement with the people of the state they conduct their businesses in) and preventing any western cultural beliefs from entering their peoples conscience which unlike the Soviets China allows a decent amount of market freedom as long as they are serving the financial interests of the rich, in fact Soviets banned any western media which culture clashed with their own cultures and prevented any businesses which promoted pro western ideals on their countries (that is why there was a serious amount of black market on the USSR which was funded by western colonialists to weaken the cultural beliefs of the Soviet people), the Soviets never had created any corporations like Huawei, Alibaba or Evergrande which have had corrupt business practices for the sole reason they had power over the people as their net assets were much larger over the average citizen on China Yeah sure China did crack down on such corrupt CEOs but again why create such CEOs in the first place while you could have had a system like the Soviets which solely relied on actual state owned enterprises which only worked for the sole interests of the people and their CEOs didn't even have net worth close to the billionaires that China has cause they never were allowed to get powerful in the first place Sure bureaucracy was something that was a huge problem in the Soviet Union but again if u have such a huge nation where u would have to check every other state and city on their progress and development you are bound to have corruption especially when western oligarchs also were planning your doom alongside too while your country just survived a brutal war against the Nazi regime (millions of Russian sacrifices in battle of Kursk) which wished your peoples extinction all those circumstances while the western Empire stole and pillaged from poorer countries, the Soviets were bound to failure cause of circumstances not cause of the system they adopted which would have challenged western imperial capitalism China is not taking any socialist elements other than just being a social democratic nation which develops betterment for its people while also carrying out huge land leases on foreign countries and screwing over its own populace especially in the Xingyang region where they seek to evict the local population there for the development of their own people i.e majority Han Chinese
1
@Gunni1972 China is a social democratic nation at best but with smaller changes in the sense that the state ran their corporations which were given much more market freedom than the Soviets did (which leads to corruption and power accumulation like with Jack Ma and Evergrande who screwed over their employees) the social benefits they are providing for their people has been at the expense of their own people especially in the Xingyang region where they are seeking to evict the local population there and assimilate them into the majority of the Han Chinese and other imperial methods in many foreign countries which frankly with the censorship there's barely any knowledge about China's system is not like the Soviets which is truly socialist unlike what people claim to be especially when the Soviets had complete control over their systems and didn't allow any free market policies on their marketplace, the only similarity that can be made with the Chinese and Soviets is that the state would demand foreign corporations work with their own corporations to market their businesses but even then the Soviets didn't just allow their corporations to have complete market freedom China's wealth distribution towards their peoples betterment is only temporary at best and with their censorship and lack of information on their whereabouts makes it harder on what kind of imperialistic methods they implement on which country or whether it's even on their own people like in the Xingyang region it's hard to know whether such a country can be called democratic as they claim especially when they do carry out some unethical practises whether it's on foreign lands or their own people and again it doesn't help that the rich of those countries prioritise their own interests even at the expense of their own people or other nations

@BeeChomper well the part where u mentioned about China suffering at the hands of globalized capital markets, well the reality is the western Empire owns those markets and it was specifically the reason why the USSR was dissolved as the US Empire had inherited the British Empire assets to get where it is today More like the opposite will happen as more youths will rather seek to reform by nationalizing their state even more and in fact cutting themselves off from the western controlled market and more join the international market devoid of western control, they are already doing it with China maintaining more close ties with Iran, Russia and the global South nations but again the nationalist ideas would come in the sense that instead of relying on the social democratic system like the Scandinavian countries are doing they would probably transition to the systems that the Soviets had practiced abolishing capital altogether and preventing any independent mega corporations like Huawei, Alibaba or Evergrande from being created which enjoy significant market freedom (ofc controlled by the state) which they exploit and screw over their employees, but again the transition depends on what actions the state takes
1
@BeeChomper if China takes the same steps as they have been doing it would be proven that their countries are carrying out neocolonial practices which obviously doesn't look good on them, the people of China ofc it depends on them whether they actually understand that colonialism and causing harm to other nations and their lower ethnicities isn't doing them a favour on the long term especially when their future youths will suffer from the consequences of their oligarchs actions
1
β @MalubaLube2022 nah never give India ideas they are just as worse as the US especially with their oligarchs like Reliance, Adani owning most of the daily necessities such as electricity, clothing, accessories and other products
1
No more UN control (extension of the US Empire as they are literally funded by them) over other countries, better for countries to look for their own betterment and not just remain a colony to other colonialist nations
1
Yall are dumb enough to think that your daily products which you buy all the necessities from are outsourced from Amazon in the first place
1
β @kurtaikido2889 i mean really the court themselves are funded by their governments who in turn work for the interests of their oligarchs, sure they would screw over a few of them but others will just take over their company like Elon Musk did with Twitter, Facebook would probably be bought by another oligarch from the western Empire π
1
Well the irony is China is no different than the west but still is a lesser threat than the western Empire combined
