  1. Baloney. Other than US, UK and Norway, no NATO member is willing to even prepare to defend itself. No one will defend another. Each NATO country should have a modern well-equipped well trained brigade (5000 servicemen) or it's equivalent with years of war material on hand on active duty per million population. And another in 1 year reserve. 1. US 1.5 million active. (1.5 reserve) 2. Germany 400,000 active. (400k reserve) 3. UK , France 250,000 active, etc. No one reaches this. Each country should be spending 4% of GDP on defense. Not on horseshit social welfare measures called defense ("Surrender Merkel") but men and war materials. No one is close. So the big takeaway is as usual Europeans are frauds. They talk a big game, like the Irish, but won't produce. Their people are willful comfortable shirkers. That is the sole US takeaway from this insignificant Russian border realignment challenge in Eastern Russian-speaking Ukraine. The US cannot rely on it's European allies, except UK and Norway. Bush knew it, Obama knew it, Trump voiced it, Biden would know it if he could remember it and Putin knows it. The European core of NATO is dead.

  2. Add defense, space, homeland security, intell, nuclear weapons, black budgets, and regional aid packages and the US citizens spend 10% of GDP on international security. Everyone else are lazy slackers. Defending them is a joke. They are shirking Irishmen in secret, but are unwilling to say they are solely self-absorbed in public.
