@davidlin6953 Stop being a hypocrite and 🐊 tear. What 🇬🇧 interested is HK huge cash reserve while the former colonial master is fighting for heavy debt.

@figgbx112 China had gone a long way b4 settling on communism in Chinese style. It had tried on feudalism, monarchy, sectarian, war lords, capitalism and democracy. There's no point arguing which system is ideal, the best system is where the leadership excel the country from wars, poverty and malnutrition to a peaceful, prosperous and lifting 800 million out of poverty in less than 30 years. Btw no system is without flaws.

@moyoyo7575 China is rich enough not to cash out HK huge cash reserves. However, it's a big cost for the UK to give up HK.

@stereomachine Hi sour 🍇, Xinjiang people live a better life in a thriving, peaceful and prosperous society than most western countries.

On the contrary, your former colonial master is plunging drastically. UK is heavily laden with debts larger than it's GDP.

@davidlin6953 HK is part of China. It has limited capacity to retake HK when its economic and military power are weak. Things took a big U turn when China had regain its strength that HK must be returned to HK without term or condition.

@foodlover_pastaspecialist It's one country two systems, where the former takes precedent. UK must allow full functioning of the quasi constitution. It's the constitution Chinese government allow freedom for HK to rule themselves.

@T2266 You missed the point the lessee must stick to the terms agreeable by the lessor . What would happen if HK elected government voted to kick former colonial out? Btw UK must return HK after the lease term expired. You forgot to mention how the British killed demonstrators in 1956 and 1967. Whereas no rioters were killed in the 2019 HK riot.

@LetsHaveFunJeremiah_LHFJRandom Whereas the UK is on the verge of bankruptcy after 27 years of HK return to China. HK and many former UK colonies are no longer the cash cow for the poor colonial master.
