  2. NATO can't differentiate between drug and war addiction in the last 30 years. There's no problem instigating war to bully small nations until they meet superpower, Russia. China focus on trade and investment. It has little interest in meddling the internal politic of its trading partners. It makes sense to trade with Russia in the absence of war. Russia supplies raw materials to China, while China exports it's manufactured goods to Russia. Unlike trading with US, there's little conflict of interest between Russia and China. Both economy is complementary.
