Stop incriminating China. China allows Germany to enjoy huge market share for many decades, making VW, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi... world number one automakers. Why not looking at the world second largest US car market which is sanctioning EU car manufacturers? Or opening a new market in corrupted india??

German car makers are not paying strong attention to new generation EV. Chinese government is pushing local car manufacturers to catch up with Tesla before the introduction of new emission standard. It's time to collaborate or joint venture with Chinese car before losing more sales in the world largest car market.

@tooltalk Sorry the word sanction is the extreme measures. US is actually using other means to sanction Germany automaker. , for eg US penalty VW billions for fault reporting on carbon emissions. Whereas China is lenient to Germany automaker even tough China emission standard is very high. Further more, US is heavily subsidized US EV automaker and effectively barring EU car entry into US market. For the same token, Deutsche Bank was penalised billion of dollars for not complying US financial regulations. We all know the top US bank breached many of bank regulations but US can afford to close and eye.

China is encouraging smaller EV automakers to merge and consolidate but with little success.
