China economy is open to all whereas US policy makers are focus on war industrial complex. Btw, EU is also competing against China, Japan and US. You can continue to argue decoupling China but US trades more with China since the trade war.

Unlike Chinaphobia, China welcomes foreign investment. It is making Starbucks, Tesla, VW and Apple world number ONE. Fyi, Starbuck is opening up one branch every 9 hours in China. Both Tesla and Tim Cooks pledge to invest more in recent visit to China. 24% share is considered significant in the corporate world. Many entrepreneurs control a public listed company when 24% is enough for them to become the majority. You missed the point a smart country wouldn't enslave to stay strong through exploitation. I don't see China colonised and enslave African or Indian. Of course, it's all history where the west or Dutch committed terrible atrocities against humanity and their colonies.

Slowly but not immediately they are waking up to the fact war is draining blood off Europe since they can not defeat Russia nuke deterrent. Whereas, US stands to profiteering from war in europe, busy selling more expensive LNG and lucrative weapons. US is proactive promoting war and hatred among EU to divide and rule. It's time EU and China should mediate between Russia and Ukraine.

  24. @mudshovel 289 EU, especially Germany can't differentiate what is risk and geopolitical tensions as far as Nord Stream pipelines are concerned. Many factories closed down in Germany because of high energy costs, others are relocating to US and China since the Ukraine war. China is not exporting risk, war and sanctioning any countries at will. Open your mind to verify which country loves to export risks, war and threats to other nations.
