@Scipio2021 comparing the Canadian single payer system with American system really is comparing apples with oranges. In America the health care is expensive to the private individual whereas Canadian system is expensive to the Gov and taxpayers Obviously the American system provides far better service and choices than does the Canadian Plan wherein everyone is equalized to the lowest common denominator. Cadillac plans in US provide far better access to specialists, testing hospital stay etc
