@underbjorn "Every country has national interests idiot, but people spend their money differently." which countries are those? ME, S. America, E urope? "Most spend more on social sectors than warfare, savagery and the brutal mentality ..." that's because they hide behind American military prowess freeing up defence funds, countries like Canada, NATO countries excellent examples u really gotta stop coming across like a naive prick

@lilnicky492 yes it will be cut when the American dollar tanks, our national credit rating drops, and the IMF forces spending cuts,..or else i can just imagine the liberals crying, boo hoo we need to keep spending, the people want it, how are we going to get elected otherwise??

in America there resides a fabulous goose, a darling golden goose a.k.a.the "rich", who lays golden eggs on demand,.. ideal situation is progressives come up with stupid social programs, tax the rich to pay for them. need 5 trillion, tax the rich; need 10 trillion, tax the rich etc golden goose can lay limitless golden eggs

@SpootyEh trouble is i talk with the goose now and then and he tells me he's royally pissed off. He complains he already lays enough golden eggs to account for 90%+ IRS collects and his ass is getting sore laying more eggs! lately he's been studying travel brochures to distant places and i'm becoming concerned he may decide to ship some of his eggs out or take flight out of the Country. He just simply can not understand why freeloaders feel they have a right to his eggs which is his property

@hieronomy what's the point in my responding?,..u seem to not know the basics as to how our economy works and international finance, credir ratings and borrowing and who actually caused the financial meltdown i will say however that when our economy tanks, and it surely will unless we change spending habits, and when America will have to pay a much higher rate of interest to obtain loans and/or when American dollar ceases to be reserve currency, u will see REAL hard times in America

@SpootyEh i see that ur not on top of things! i said that the goose (collectively speaking) accounts for 90%+ of monies collected by the IRS, which is a fact. I wasn't referring to individual tax rates

perhaps Cenk should explain the situation in Europe where there are huge SS,pension problems bankrupting numerous Countries. There are no rich Republicans in europe, so WHO IS CAUSING THEIR PROBLEMS?

@hieronomy "Who represents the American ppl --IMF or Congress ?" when a Country finds itself in such financial crisis that it needs assistance from the IMF, World Bank, the entity providing the bailout dictates the terms as to how the Country must manage its affairs to achieve recovery. Simple principle involved here, "he who pays the piper gets to choose the tune"
