No one is focusing on tweet. What did Lineker say that is wrong? Facts about numbers? Has Lineker got his facts wrong? Braverman's bill breaks international law. How does it not? The Nazis didn't start with exterminating 6 million Jews and minorities in gas chambers. They started with cruel policy directed at the most vulnerable people . Before these policies came the dehumanising language. The fascist rulebook: GB News knows it, Tories know it, UKIP nutjobs know it. “We must make Britain great again”. “There is a faction that prevents from Britain achieving greatness”. “Remove that faction and Britain will be great”. First demonise the faction with dehumanising language. This is what Bollas called the fascist frame of mind . Have you treated migrants and refugees with fairness and dignity? Or have you used demonising language?

@jonsmith20766 Of course my question is irrelevant to someone who hasn’t read the Lineker Tweet. Someone who who so depises the MSM so much they become trapped in their filter bubble. Lineker only makes TWO points, and you’re unable to understand the fundamental issues of this tweet. My “irrelevant” question becomes more relevant when reframed: has Lineker got his facts wrong ? The burning question is: has the UK taken more or fewer refugees than its European neighbours? The other question is: did Lineker write about ACTIONS or did he write LANGUAGE? Lineker when all is said and done is a decent bloke with decent values. Either you do not want to engage with your deep seated humanity, or for one reason or another, you simply lack it . I am sorry if you are offended, but truth hurts those that are offensive to the most vulnerable in society. Successive UK governments that maybe you have voted for have bombed or sold weapons to destroy countries, and it is you that feels offended . I look forward to answers to this response.
