  1. As ever, GB News distracts viewers from the real issues facing the UK, one of which is the erosion of civil rights. The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act that was granted Royal Assent two days ago is the real threat to democracy. GB News bang on about freedom of speech, but neglect other civil liberties. Very little consideration was given to the Bill. Freedom to protest is a fundamental right of a democratic society. However, when you support authoritarian policies, do not be surprised when they turn out to affect you and your civil liberties .
