Basically, the Conservative and Unionist Party has been overtaken by hard-right nutjobs intent on pushing a narrative that the BNP, and NF would have endorsed. Is it any wonder that more true conservatives are not standing at the next election? It is a radical right take-over, and you are pushing the narrative. It is people like you in Germany in the 1930’s that would’ve considered people like the Pastor Martin Niemöller to be “woke”. First he was a conservative that supported the national socialists then when the Nazis began Aryanising the country he spoke out saying that the acts were incompatible with the Christian virtue of charity .
