Why? Israel has a right to fight Palestine, they are 2 cruel regimes. The Palestinians in the West Bank have started 2 Intifadas against Israel, Palestinians launch rockets at Israel from within Gaza, and smuggle weapons in past customs. Terrorists like Hamas or Islamic Jihad hold the Gazan civilians as hostages and human shields, launching rockets from soft targets like schools or hospitals, and then daring Israel to strike back and kill Gazan civilians.

@brandonpazmino8349 You claim that Israel’s settlements are the reason why there’s conflict. But if that’s the case, how do you explain the Six Day War in 1967? When TransJordan/Palestinians had everything, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, Gaza Strip and then some, they had all the land that is currently disputed between Israel and Palestine. They STILL LAUNCHED A WAR OF AGGRESSION AGAINST ISRAEL. There’s no indication that if Israel ends all the West Bank settlements and hands over East Jerusalem there will be peace. It didn’t happen before, why now? On the contrary, for Israel to cede large amounts of territory would put the nation at risk for another war or intifada. Israel fought 3 major wars and endured two Intifadas. Why should Israel risk another of either?

@Mugairyuiai so you’re saying the whole world should join her in renouncing war? Sounds good in theory but of course that is impossible. How do you propose Israel conduct itself in light of the multiple wars and Intifadas? Abandoning all military action would lead to ethnic cleansing, disenfranchisement, lynchings, and/or genocide.

She’s a coward for dodging the draft. And she thinks the Palestinians are victims, even though it was the Palestinian Authority/Hamas who helped start the wars against Israel, who commits unrelenting terrorism via rocket strikes, suicide bombings, or lone wolves with guns and knives. Israel isn’t the bad guy, it’s taking counter measures against the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Palestinians aren’t oppressed by Israelis.

Government has a right to collect taxes, enforce laws, and have a draft. She was a coward and criminal for breaking the law. And she blames Israel for oppression Palestinians. This is silly, Israel does not hurt people for fun or malice. Israel is surrounded by hostile nations, and the West Bank and Gaza Strip regularly attack Israel or enable the attackers indirectly. Israel would not feel compelled to take such defensive actions if it had democratic and peaceful neighbors. The fault lies entirely with the Palestinian regime. Israel is also democratic and has a greater moral right to disputed territories.

@retmotiv mr. Pony man, everything I typed is factual, not opinionated. The only reason Palestine and Israel are in conflict, is because Palestine started the wars with Israel and continue to fight Israel. All the way back to the 1947-1949 War, Palestinians started hostilities by refusing to accept an Israeli state. “But the Israelis came and stole land, Palestinians were defending themselves” you might say, but that is not an excuse for war. British Mandate for Palestine set aside all of Jordan for local Arabs/Palestinians, and in addition, they set aside land for an independent Palestinian state within what we know call, Israel and the West Bank. Jews accepted the deal, Palestinians and Arabs rejected it, and so the war began. Israel won, Jordan annexed the West Bank and East Jerusalem in 1950, which also saw the mass expulsion of Jews from East Jerusalem. After TransJordan lost the Six Day War that it helped start, Israel took control of East Jerusalem and the West Bank as victor’s justice. I can’t find Israel at fault here.

@Daniel De saint malo Hamas uses human shields. And they instigate the conflicts between Israel. How would you respond to rocket attacks? What country do you live in? Would you be so patient if the country next to you funded terrorism, called for genocide, and launched rockets at your major cities? I doubt it. As well, distinguishing between a Hamas operative and a civilian is not always clear. They are terrorists, they may have an informal structure. Members may not be in uniform or card carrying. Is that dead civilian in jeans and t-shirt a Hamas member, a collaborator, a spy, a human shield, or truly innocent, with no affiliation for Hamas? It’s not always clear.

What if your country suffered from missile attacks or suicide bombings that occasionally killed people? And caused property damage, terror threats, and necessitated a large and expensive missile defense system-known in Israel as the Iron Dome? Wouldn’t you expect your country to take counter measures? What would you have Israel do?

Hamas has repeatedly launched rockets, hid caches, stationed terrorist personal etc in civilian areas or disguised as civilian areas. To quote from Stratcomcoe, a think tank affiliated with NATO, “Hamas, an Islamist militant group and the de facto governing authority of the Gaza Strip, has been using human shields in conflicts with Israel since 2007. According to the Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), the war crime of using human shields encompasses “utilizing the presence of a civilian or other protected person to render certain points, areas, or military forces immune from military operations.” Hamas has launched rockets, positioned military-related infrastructure-hubs and routes, and engaged the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) from, or in proximity to, residential and commercial areas” (_Hybrid Threats: Hamas’ use of human shields in Gaza_ , 2019). That explains why IDF kills lots of Gazans, it is the fault of Hamas

Cream Cheese British controlled all of modern day Jordan, Palestine, and Israel. Jews had lived in the region for thousands of years, not all Jews and Zionists were immigrants and refugees post-WW2. Why shouldn’t some of that land be set aside for Jews?

Even after Palestine started the Two Intifadas, the Ramallah Lynchings, and helped start and fight the 3 wars of aggression against Israel, you think Israel should give up land to Palestine? @Ei_Kei British Mandate was territory under British control, so it was their country, firstly. Secondly, the British had nothing directly to do with the creation of Israel. The 1947-1949 War is clear on the matter, you can read about it for free on Wikipedia. The Jews/Proto-Israelis were often fighting the British for independence, as well as fighting hostile Arabs within the British Mandate, and hostile nations like TransJordan, who backed the local anti-Zionist Arabs.

@Daniel De saint malo Palestine/TransJordan had all the territories in dispute with Israel in 1967. They had the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip. Didn’t matter, Palestine and TransJordan plus others still launched a war against Israel, the Six Day War, when Israel seized as recompense East Jerusalem, Gaza Strip, and the West Bank from TransJordan, the Golan Heights from Syria, and the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt. At this point, TransJordan abandoned any claim to the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, and declared it all to be Palestine. TransJordan only surrendered it when it became convenient to do so, and they have no moral rights to exist since they are warmongers who spun off from a losing side of a war.
