That’s a famous example of why not answer a loaded question, they were ultimately killed by Saddam’s genocidal regime, along with banditry that he spread.   9.  @justiceiscomingsoon  Baathist Iraq was no different than Germany in WWII. Baathist Iraq deserved to be destroyed, and all its supporters too. An analogy: lots of German civilians were killed by the US in WW2, but they either deserved it, or they were collateral damage and it was for the greater good. Either way, it isn’t the US’s fault those German civilians died, it was the German state’s fault for waging war and putting their people in harm’s way. That is what I have to say about the Iraqis who died in the Iraq War. US didn’t mean to kill them, and most of the times it was Iraqi bandits or Baathists which killed them. Sad, but not the US’s fault.
