@robertfontaine3650 firstly, Gaza attacks and has attacked Israel despite already being an independent nation, so what more would Israel do? Secondly, because Gaza Strip and the West Bank are dictatorships, and Israel is democratic, Israel has a moral right to dismantle them.

@robertfontaine3650 this is not apartheid. Israel has no jurisdiction over Gaza Strip or Area A of the West Bank, and Arab Israeli citizens of Israel are treated equally according to NGO reports like the Democracy Index

@blessphemy Gaza Strip is blockaded since 2007, because Hamas the terrorists came to power. The blockade is supported by Israel, Egypt, and even the West Bank (Palestine itself!) who see Hamas as an Iranian proxy and a threat.

@Jem_Apple where is the proof Israel is attacking Palestinian civilians? What Israel is doing is allowing Jews to reclaim their old homes in East Jerusalem that were stolen by TransJordan in 1950. Those homes were never the Palestinians’ to keep.

@aion5837 Gaza is blockaded since 2007 to contain the violence of Hamas. Ironically, Palestinians in the West Bank supports the blockade, because they see Hamas as an Iranian proxy and as illegitimate.

@Jem_Apple no, because before Israel was formed, there were Jews from British Palestine living in East Jerusalem. When TransJordan annexed East Jerusalem and the West Bank region, those Jews were considered Israelis by Jordanians and Palestinians and were deported to Israel. But then in 1967 Israel fought and won the defensive Six Day War against Jordan, Palestine, plus other nations, and Israeli government believed that those Jordanian seizures of East Jerusalem were illegal and immoral. So Israel decided that those Israelis who could prove a title to those homes in East Jerusalem before 1950, can reclaim what was always theirs. It is not stealing per se.
