@kemarisite It Is the cost/benefit thing; bigger ammunition for the same gun is not worth near as much as standardizing on bigger guns.

@CSSVirginia I would have gone with the Parrot guns, while some of them did explode it was a very low percentage. I would also have provided protection for the gun crews when firing. In which case the CSS Virgina would have been sunk or captured.
