  3. That particular problem could have been dealt with by controlling the loading of the clips because with eight rounds both ends will present the first round on the same side which ever end is up.

  4.  @OneWingedShark  I have never heard of that but at the time you had to change spark plugs just about as often and there was a car that required partially dismounting the engine to change half of them. Hooray for iridium spark plugs.
