  1. Being Vilderbeest pilot during WW2 would have been like being a cavalry soldier in the Charge of the Light Brigade. Theirs not to make reply, -- Theirs not to reason why, -- Theirs but to do and die. -- Into the sky of Death -- Flew the Vilderbeest pilots. I'm sure there were very few veteran combat Vilderbeest pilots after WW2!
