  3. He undermined the doctrine of uniformity. Science wasn’t organized in the west until the 19th century in universities You forget the Baghdad school of wisdom. One of the things that allowed the west to adopt science was initially Aristotle, due to his empiricism. Westerners came to oppose Aristotle for rational reasons, not for religious reasons like he did.
