Ancestors both Greenlandic and Viki...- Danish 😀 There's one little thing that people from else where normally don't know, or understand, and that is that after 300 years together, the relationship between the two has become a kind of symbiotic - benefits both. Most people are mixed Danish/Greenlandish, maybe not exactly their parent but grand - and great grand's and so forth... Lots of people from Denmark live here, around 8000, earn their money. Some stay, some go back to Denmark. Most of imports to Greenland are from Denmark, food, clothing, building materials, boats, cars - yeah, you name it, everything. Denmark makes Greenland safer (NATO), richer, educated - and not least - socialdemocratic :) Greenland makes Denmark an international political player - Greenland makes Denmark BIG in many ways. So it is not that simple, that Denmark just pays out and gets nothing in return. Btw, the ABSURD is that Donald Trump Duterte would buy Greenland and its people, the whole thing. You don't buy people and countries anymore. Sure, co-operation between USA/Denmark/Greenland could be greatly improved - and beneficial for all parties. But it has got to be by agreements, not sale as TFG suggested. All that aside, I AM pro-american so to say, I would say that PAX AMERICANA is the best option for Europe/western countries incl Denmark and Greenland. Peace! 👍
