I call B.S. on that. Sorry I don't mean to be rude, but a good weld mixes the metal from both sides together to make a strong bond. It will break somewhere else before it breaks at that weld. It's not like just filling up a "V". It's not drywall. Ray did it right, even though he doesn't make the prettiest weld.

@dustinmere1560 I tend to agree with you on that note. When you weld, you should be mixing molten metal from one side to the other, that is why you use a circular or half circle motion. You are basically making it one piece of metal again.

@DeltaGammaKilo Man that wore me out reading all that. I agree with the exception of the v thing. Yes it has to be through the metal and not just a surface weld, in fact a surface weld is not a weld at all, and weaker than sht.
