A spoiled bully who went into rages when stuff didn't go his way (grabbed his future wife by her hair when she turned him down- very toxic as well, mistreated the residents of Northern England because they weren't welcoming to him, was bitter towards his wife when she took their son Robert's side, was bitter towards his brother as well- Bishop Odo- for taking Robert's side, mistreatment of the corpse of King Harold Godwinson when the man's Mom asked for his corpse for burial). Need I go on?? It would have been better if the Confessor had a kid or at least made clear instructions for the succession. There is no way I'm letting my cousin's spoiled child inherit anything from me. He was not a great king and definitely not a good person.

  42. *In modern times, John Quincy Adams would have been an ideal President and Andrew Jackson would be considered DEMONIC (as he was due to the way he treated Native Americans and enslaved Black people)... Those of us in the 20th and/or 21st Centuries could appreciate the vision of John Quincy Adams. Too bad our ancestors could not. Perhaps had he been re-elected, slavery could have ended earlier possibly without a Civil War.

  48. Rockefeller and his descendants were nice people. One of his grandsons- former Vice President Nelson Rockefeller- died the year I was born (1979). He was a progressive Republican which I can relate to vs a conservative Republican.
