  2. i think its kinda funny and weird that you live with a language where you cant write toothpaste. what does the chinese person write on their shopping list? i use computers and my iphone a lot, but i really enjoy writing all my notes and lists and thoughts down by hand.

  3. hmm german isnt that hard to write, there are certainly words that i rarely or never write, but i am not sure they would be difficult.

  5. i am not surprised and i dont think its embarrassing for them at all. less handwriting and more usage of digital media will do this to every language. (young people here in germany often dont write correctly, whereas the older generation mostly has no trouble.) a complicated language like chinese obviously is more affected by this trend.
